Summary:
In this tale from Somalia, the Hargega Valley is plagued by a cannibal named Dhegdheer who gobbles up anyone who crosses her path. A widow and her young son who stumble upon her are able to escape because of their virtue but Dhegdheer is trapped by her sins.
