Summary:
Contains volumes seven, eight, and nine of the manga series "Berserk." First, as the Band of the Hawk continue to aid Midland, warriors Guts and Casca fall from a cliff into a raging river. As Guts tends to Casca's wounds, Casca reveals how she was inducted into the Band of the Hawk. Then, as the war between Midland and Chuder draws to an end, those who seek to rise to power within Midland see Griffith, the leader of the Band of the Hawk, as an obstacle. Finally, his judgment clouded by the loss of his companion, Griffith finds solace in the arms of the King's daughter. When the King finds out, he sends Griffith to the dungeon and torture chamber, leaving the Band of the Hawk open to attack from Midland's army.
