Summary:

In the Second Age, the Dragon subdued the Dark One and his disciples in a mystical prison. The Third Age has begun and the Dragon is gone, but reborn in a boy who doesn't yet know his supreme calling. Time is precious, for the prison decays and the Dark One will soon work his evil.
