Summary:
When a social worker tries to take two small children from their mother and place them in a foster home, their aunt Emilie flees with them and takes shelter in an old unoccupied house, where they are mistaken for the home's missing heirs. Though it is just a matter of time before they are discovered, Emilie tries to stay just long enough to give the children a Christmas to remember.
