Summary:
Built with the blood and sweat from hundreds of thousands of workers, the Great Wall is the enduring symbol of China. Climb this two thousand-year-old monument, and meet travelers who marvel over it. Go to Beijing, for a pedicab tour through the old markets and temples, and a look at life in China's capital. Journey down the scenic Li River, where it seems time has stood still for the last millenium. Water buffalo wade chest deep in the river, while a barefoot family works the rice fields. Visit villages hidden in the riverbanks, and the backpackers' mecca of Yangshou. Scale legendary Moon Rock, and explore ancient customs of the river people.
