"The Castle Rock Bank and Castle Rock Agency at 100 years. Investors organized the First State Bank of Castle Rock on August 16, 1916. The first executive officer of the bank was Percy "Puck" Records who was a 1905 graduate of Farmington High School and served as the executive officer until 1958. Arnold Kruse succeeded him and was president until his retirement from banking in 1961. Dan Nicolai, also a graduate of Farmington High School, became president in 1961 and remains in that position as the bank marks its centennial.
