Summary:
Changes are in store for the devoted staff at the Good Karma Hospital, an underfunded clinic in coastal Kerala, India. British ex-pat Dr. Ruby Walker is still reeling following the abrupt departure of Gabriel, her colleague and former flame. Then she's dealt another blow when her father is diagnosed with cancer. Meanwhile, two new doctors being working at Good Karma, each bringing his or her own perspective to the team.
