Few rides in entertainment history were as exciting, colorful and altogether wild as the one taken by the Beatles in the mid 1960's. As they toured the world from 1964 through 1966, they had with them a very special photographer, their fellow Englishman Robert Whitaker. Bob was with them on the planes and in the helicopters. He made pictures as they recorded their records, then made portraits for the jackets of those discs. Hired by Brian Epstein as things were really taking off for the band, Bob Whitaker was the indispensable chronicler of Beatlemania.
